Given what this site is about, we collect as little as possible.
Information We Collect
- Server logs: Our web server records basic access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are deleted within 30 days.
- Email: If you email us, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to respond or follow up on a tip.
What We Don't Do
- No tracking cookies.
- No analytics scripts on any page.
- No advertising networks or retargeting.
- We don't sell, rent or share your information.
Third-Party Services
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google may receive your IP address. Links to outside sites (court records, news outlets, partner organizations) are governed by those sites' own policies.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Sensitive Communications
If you need to share sensitive information about surveillance or an ongoing legal matter, use end-to-end encrypted tools such as Signal or PGP-encrypted email, consider visiting this site through Tor Browser, and for highly sensitive documents use SecureDrop through an established news organization.
Your Rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop processing it. Email privacy@parallelconstruction.org.
